The Crux RoadBoardz Graphics Story 

The Coffaro kids, for as long as any of them could remember, had dreams of opening their own business.  Their grandfather, Pete, an Italian immigrant, worked hard to establish that dream.  Their father, Jim, operated one of Pete’s businesses throughout their childhoods.  Jim was a hard worker, but not a workaholic.  He understood the value of family, the importance of family dinners, baseball practices, dance recitals, homework help and parent/teacher conferences.  He showed his kids that running a business meant hard work, but it also meant flexibility, stability and happiness if you were lucky enough to run it successfully. 

In 2004, Jim and his oldest son, Adam, got the opportunity to start RoadBoardz Graphics, and they jumped on it. With 1 salesperson, 1 installer, and 1 printer, they began to learn the industry, and gain some customers at their office in Cincinnati.  By the time Crux, a competitor who had been in business in Northern Kentucky since 1991, was ready to sell, RoadBoardz was ready to grow.  In 2010, they purchased Crux and became Crux RoadBoardz Graphics, and moved HQ to Hebron, Kentucky. 

In the years since that leap, Crux RoadBoardz Graphics has moved into an even larger facility, to accommodate their growing employees and customers.  Two of Adam’s younger siblings, Christa and Jimmy, have joined the team, giving it an even truer identity of family business.  Today, the siblings view the entire team as their extended family, and place a high value on openness, cohesiveness, and work-life-balance across the company.  Their full line of services includes vehicle wraps, wall murals, fleet graphics, decals, signs and banners, window graphics and dimensional signage.  All design, production and local installation work is done by their team of dedicated, 3M and PDAA-certified employees. Additionally, their vast network of installers nationwide allow them to deliver top-notch work throughout the country.
