Top 5 Most FAQ's

Since our inception in 2004, we have learned more than we ever thought possible about the vinyl graphics world, and we are very grateful that we can continue to grow and evolve with the industry and our customers!  Our customers are now, as always, our top priority.  We are only here because of them, and because they continue to trust us with their business.  With that honor, and with the knowledge of history on our side, we have compiled a list of our most frequently received questions, which we hope will make their (your) beginning journey into the wild world of vinyl graphics a little less daunting!

And any additional questions we didn’t cover here?  Just give us a call.  We’ll be happy to get’em answered, and get you and your business on your way to signage success!

1.      What is a vehicle wrap?

Typically, when we are talking about a “vehicle wrap” we are referring to a “full” wrap. A full wrap is a wrap that fully covers the vehicle, or – as is the case in 95% of business vehicles we wrap – everything but the roof and the bumpers. While there are different types of wraps, the “types” are really just referring to the amount of vehicle that is covered (i.e. full wrap, partial wrap, and cut vinyl), but the wrap itself is a 3M vinyl film material with either a luster or matte overlaminate, which is printed, prepped and then stretched and heated over the exterior of the vehicle with your own custom design.

2.      Do I need to provide my own vehicle wrap design?

You are welcome to provide your own design, if you have one, but you certainly do not need to.  We have full-time graphic designers on our team who are highly-skilled at coming up with designs to make our customers’ vehicles – and other surfaces, such as windows, walls and floors – stand out and “make their mark” amongst the wild.  If you know your vehicle’s year, make and model, we can pull a template of your vehicle to begin overlaying the design onto to get the ball rolling.  If your vehicle is not in our template database, we can come out to measure it, and our designers can build a custom template for it.

3.      Where does install take place?

The majority of the installs take place inside our fully-insulated, temperature-controlled install garage, which is located in the back of our shop at 3475 Langley Dr Suite 101 Hebron, KY 41048. We can also install at customers’ facilities if the need does arise.

4.      Will my vehicle’s paint get damaged when the graphics are removed?

No!  As a matter of fact, the graphics that we install protect the paint on your vehicle from sun damage, rocks, pebbles, and those pesky scratches!

5.      How long will my vehicle wrap last?

How long your vehicle wrap lasts depends on 3 main factors:  1) What type of material is used, 2) How well the vinyl is installed, and 3) How well you take care of it.  For our part, we use only the industry’s top product – which is 3M vinyl. 3M uses a match component system, which requires us to use 3M vinyl, 3M printers, and also have 3M certified installers. Because we use this system, we are able to provide a 5-year warranty and a customer-satisfied guarantee to every job that leaves our shop.  For your part, we give you a “How to care for your wrap” sheet when you walk out the door, so that your wrap can – and the overwhelming majority of them do – last well over 10 years!

These questions just begin to start to scratch the surface of everything there is to know about vehicle wraps, vehicle graphics, and vinyl decals. While these are the Top 5 Most Frequently Asked Questions, there are probably plenty more that are running around your head! For instance, some of your questions could be:  What type of wraps are there?  What is the up-keep/care for a vehicle wrap?  What are our accreditations?  Feel free to call or email us and we would be happy to answer!
